Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, CPR certification


Experience: Experience an asset


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency


Area of Specialization: General duty, Home care


Specific Skills: Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care, Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, Provide health education, Provide nursing care, Manage home care cases, Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff


Essential Skills: Document use, Writing, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Continuous learning


Other Information:Home Care Department seeking Registered Nurse &/or Licensed Practical Nurse. To supervise and teach P.C.A.'S in client's homes. MUST BE CURRENTLY CERTIFIED TO WORK IN ALBERTA. No nights.
